I receive incredible feedback from my customers. There is always surprise when they present a portrait cameo as this is such an unusual gift idea. Often there are deeply emotional responses such as tears or being "lost for words".
The reaction to seeing a portrait of a loved one carved in gemstone is quite remarkable because the image on the stone looks "so alive".
We gave the cameo to my mom last Wednesday and she is still speechless. When she first opened the box she took a huge breath and began to cry. When my father asked her what the gift was she tried to tell him but was overwhelmed with emotions.
She showed her cameo to her sisters and they all were overwhelmed with tears on how true the cameo was to Papi Viejo. Gareth, thank you so much for sharing your talent with us and for allowing us the opportunity to give my mom a gift that she’s worthy of.

The cameo arrived safely. It is spectacular ! My wife was very surprised and pleased. She wore it out to dinner last night. It was amazing to see the effect that slight shifts in lighting made on the appearance of the cameo.
